The design of the Porsche radios, with their larger display and ingenious menu
control, improves their functionality and user-friendliness. All devices have a
security code, removable operating panel and flashing diode that is activated
when the ignition key is removed. The speed-related volume control works up to
250 km/h to justify your demands on Porsche sound. All of the radios can be
connected to a Porsche CD/MD changer and telephone mute function (radio volume
shut-off).
The Porsche audio system features an easy-to-read
display and a menu system offering greater functionality and ease of use. It is
security coded and has a removable front panel as well as a flashing
light-emitting diode (LED) that is enabled when the ignition key is removed. All
systems come with 4 x 30 Watt high-power out-put. The speed-dependent volume
control function adjusts audio out-put as you accelerate, ensuring your audio
system always keeps pace with your car.

TrafficPro navigation system Despite its compact format, the TrafficPro packs
all the features of a conventional satellite navigation system, plus a
comprehensive range of additional functions, such as multiple stop routes and
50-destination point memory. The display is a high-quality dot-matrix design,
while road network data for the 48 contiguous states is provided on two CD-roms.
The data features a 300-mile overlap. Before you begin your journey, simply
enter your destination using a single rotary control. Route guidance information
is delivered visually on the dot-matrix display as well as in the form of voice
output via the standard audio speakers. (in English, French, or Spanish). With
its compact chassis, the TrafficPro is almost as easy to install as a
conventional car audio system. This kit comes with the head unit, lead wire, and
navigation antenna. This kit is made for a Boxster or Carrera 996.
